Served as the Volunteer Lead in the World Friends Korea (WFK) IT Volunteer Program 2025, held at Daffodil International University from 12–31 July 2025. Collaborated with a team of Korean volunteers to organize ICT training sessions and coordinate cultural and language exchange activities for students. This experience significantly enriched my leadership, coordination, and cross-cultural communication skills.

I'm thrilled to share that I've completed an 8-hour Social Skills training course by the Psychological Service Centre at Daffodil International University. I received a certificate from the Director of Students' Affairs, Professor Dr. Syed Mizanur Rahman. I extend my heartfelt thanks to Honorary Registrar Dr. Mohammed Nadir Bin Ali, Psychologist Bilkis Khanam, and Psychologist Md. Abu Tareque for their support and expertise during the program. This training is a valuable asset for my upcoming PhD research and academic endeavours, offering essential knowledge and skills. I'm grateful for Professor Dr. Syed Mizanur Rahman's unwavering support and dedication to student growth, and I eagerly anticipate the next phase of my academic journey, armed with this newfound expertise.
In Spring 2023, our course focused on Software Requirement Specifications & Analysis. We visited Mens World Showroom-1 in Savar City Center, Savar, Dhaka, a real company, to understand their software usage. After talking to them and gathering information about their software needs, we successfully met their requirements. It was an exciting way to learn about real-world software integration.
MIST Leetcon 2023, the first-ever international cyber security conference in Bangladesh, was a resounding success, attracting cyber security enthusiasts from all over the country and beyond. The event, hosted by the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), featured a variety of events, including a Capture the Flag (CTF) competition, workshops by renowned cyber security experts, and talks by distinguished speakers.
The Cyber Security Centre is hosting the "Cyber Security Awareness Day - 2022" on November 12th, 2022 at Daffodil International University. The event aims to educate and raise awareness about the importance of cyber security among students, faculty, and staff. Attendees can expect informative talks, workshops, and demonstrations from experts in the field. It's a great opportunity to learn about cyber security best practices and stay safe online.
I'm really thrilled to have been chosen as the Deputy Organization & Office Secretary for our Software Engineering Club at Daffodil International University for the 2023-'24 Executive Committee. The 5th Bangladesh Innovation Summit, held in Dhaka on February 18, 2023, brought together 600 in-person and 1000 online participants. It celebrated innovation and entrepreneurship in Bangladesh, covering robotics, AI, metaverse, and more. Keynotes, panels, and workshops allowed students to learn from experts and network. A startup showcase highlighted 20+ Bangladeshi entrepreneurs. In sum, it fostered innovation and collaboration, providing a platform for Bangladeshi students to showcase their work and connect with resources for success.
The Cyber Security Centre at Daffodil International University is a community of 16 students who are passionate about cyber security and are actively involved in a variety of activities, including competitions, research, presentations, and volunteering, to learn and practice cyber security skills and prepare for successful careers in the field.
Career Development Center, Daffodil International University offers a workshop on "How to Prepare and Present Academic Presentation." The workshop covers topics such as organizing content, creating effective visual aids, delivering presentations confidently, and handling questions from the audience. Students can learn essential skills and strategies to succeed in academic and professional settings. The workshop is a valuable resource for enhancing presentation skills & boosting career prospects.
Cyber Security Awareness Day 2022 was held at Daffodil International University on November 12, 2022, where I welcomed the Honourable Dean of the Faculty of Science and Information Technology, Professor Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, to the programme by presenting a tree. This time the honourable member of the University Grants Commission (UGC), Bangladesh, Professor Dr. Md. Sazzad Hossain, along with Daffodil International University Honorary Chairman Md. Sabur Khan, Honourable Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Honourable Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. S.M. Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder, Associate Professor of Software Engineering Department, and Director of Cyber Security Centre Md. Maruf Hasan, were present.

It offers educational programmes and training, imparting knowledge about current cyber security threats and best practices to students, faculty, and the wider community. Moreover, it conducts research on emerging cyber security technologies and provides consulting services to businesses and organizations for enhanced cyber threat protection. The centre also proactively promotes cyber security awareness and education in Bangladesh, collaborating closely with government bodies, industries, and academic institutions to develop and implement solutions for a safer environment.
The 5th DIU SWE Intra Department Programming Contest, Fall 2022, was a competitive programming event held on November 17, 2022. Over 200 students from the Software Engineering department at Daffodil International University participated in the contest, which consisted of seven challenging programming problems. The top 3 teams were Algorithmist, Codeforces, and Programming Ninjas. The contest was a great success, and it provided an opportunity for students to test their programming skills, learn new algorithms, and compete with their peers.

Collaborating with a team of experts, I continuously strive to enhance our defences and ensure a secure and resilient environment for our university community. I participated in the National Hackathon for Cyber Security in the Fintech Industry 2022 alongside my teammates Kayes Ahmed Himu and Maruf Hossain Munna. Organized by the ICT Division, Bangladesh, and the Department of Software Engineering at Daffodil International University, the event brought together over 120 participants nationwide. Our team contributed to the presentation of 40 projects tackling key cybersecurity challenges in fintech. The event was attended by Mr. NM Zeaul Alam and DIU’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. M. Lutfur Rahman, and our participation is also featured in the film Antorjal (Internet) by director Dipankar Dipon.
As Volunteer Lead for the CodeTrap Programming Contest, Fall 2024, I led and coordinated a team of 30+ volunteers to successfully host a coding battle with 200+ participants. My responsibilities covered logistics management, contest room coordination, and facilitating the prize-giving ceremony—ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for all.
Honored to collaborate with Professor Dr. Syed Akhter Hossain (Dean, FSIT, DIU) as Chief Guest, I witnessed the celebration of excellence: Top 10 coders receiving awards, champions lifting trophies, and the fastest problem-solvers being recognized. This experience reinforced my passion for leadership, event management, and building impactful tech communities.
As the General Secretary of Naogaon District Students’ Association of DIU and serving as the Team Manager, I had the honor of leading our team in the Inter District Association Sports Carnival 2025. Competing among 44 district associations, our dedication, discipline, and team spirit led us to secure the Championship Title. This victory is more than a trophy—it reflects unity, leadership, and the relentless spirit of Naogaon District students.
Through this championship, our association and Naogaon District have gained distinct recognition across the DIU campus. This milestone stands as both a personal achievement in leadership and management, and a collective triumph, proving how teamwork, commitment, and passion can make our association stand out among students and turn ambitions into history.
As part of the "Business Analysis and Communication" course at Daffodil International University (DIU), SWE-39 batch's A and B sections participated in an educational tour to Beyond Buffet, Mirpur, Dhaka. The tour offered hands-on exposure to corporate meeting settings, professional dining etiquette, and practical business experiences, enhancing our understanding of real-world workplace culture.
I contributed to organizing the event alongside Ms. Sadeeya Ehsan, with support from Abdullah Al Maruf Supto and Fahim Sahriyar Sadab. Coordinating logistics, managing participant engagement, and ensuring smooth execution for 78 students, we successfully created an enriching and memorable learning experience for all attendees.
As a student enrolled in the course "Introduction to Software Engineering," I had the opportunity to delve into the fascinating world of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). In this presentation, I will walk you through the core concepts and principles of SDLC, offering a fresh and youthful perspective. Just like a photo capturing a group of friends, SDLC involves different stages, each with its own unique characteristics and challenges. From initiation to deployment, our journey through SDLC is akin to a group of friends embarking on an exciting adventure. Join me as we explore this dynamic process that shapes the software we use every day.
At the 5th Bangladesh Innovation Summit 2023, certificates were awarded to the top 20 individuals, recognising their outstanding contributions. I had the privilege of serving as a representative for the Software Engineering Club of Daffodil International University at this event. Alhamdulillah, I had the honour of overseeing the programme's successful execution and received this esteemed recognition. The certificates were presented by the distinguished Founder and President of the Bangladesh Innovation Forum, Ariful Hasan Apu, who was also present alongside many other dignitaries. It was a truly rewarding experience, and I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this event.

With a design that reflects the creativity and innovation of the software engineering field, these jerseys are sure to be a hit among students and serve as a testament to the department's commitment to fostering creativity and collaboration among its students. As Spring 2023 approaches, the students of Section "A" eagerly anticipate sporting their distinctive jerseys, showcasing their dedication to the field of software engineering and proudly representing my creative contribution.
In the SWE Department at our University, Section "A" in Batch 39th is where incredible academic and personal connections are forged. We thrive on collaborative group projects, tackle coding challenges together, and revel in our shared triumphs. With our diverse backgrounds and shared interests, our social circle is a tapestry of friendships that will last a lifetime and a professional network that's invaluable. In 2017, as a group of enthusiastic first year intermediate students from Shaheed Ramiz Uddin Cantonment College, we embarked on an unforgettable college picnic adventure to Hasna-Hena Picnic & Shooting Spot in Gazipur. The day was filled with laughter, fun, and a strong sense of camaraderie. Our class teacher, Shamaiun Kabir Bhuiyan, accompanied us, adding to the excitement. We explored the lush greenery, enjoyed outdoor activities, and relished delicious food. This trip allowed us to bond with our classmates and teacher, creating lasting memories that we still cherish today. It was a day of relaxation and rejuvenation amidst our academic pursuits, making it a cherished chapter in our college life.
Receiving the crest from the local UP (Union Parishad) member during our school farewell ceremony in 2016 was an unforgettable moment for me and my fellow SSC batchmates at Zirabo High School. As we prepared to bid farewell to our beloved school, this event symbolized the recognition of our hard work and dedication throughout our academic journey. The crest symbolized not only academic achievements but also the values and principles instilled in us during our time at the school. It was a moment of pride and gratitude as we received this honour and stepped into a new chapter of our lives, carrying with us the wisdom and experiences gained from our time at Zirabo High School.
